Kimberly Powell is an urban planning professional living and working in Manhattan. She currently works with a civil engineering firm and specializes in preparing Environmental Assessment Statements (EAS). Kimberly has work experience at both the local and international level, including performing on-time evaluations and surveys for MTA-NYCT and researching financing systems of informal communities in Manila for the World Bank. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the NYU Wagner School of Public Service and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
Kimberly is also an active member of the American Planning Association (NY Metro Chapter) and the Women’s Transportation Seminar (Greater NYC Chapter), where she is on the Programs Committee Board. She frequently volunteers through New York Cares on projects throughout the five boroughs and participates annually in long-distance racing events.
